Ocularpathology.com is a non-profit project dedicated at promoting ophthalmic knowledge through a better understanding of the pathology and pathophysiology of eye diseases. The website was founded in 2005 at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas by Shady T. Awwad, MD, during his fellowship in Ophthalmic Pathology and Cornea, External Diseases, and Refractive Surgery, with the help and mentorship of Dr. R. Nick Hogan, MD, PhD.
